Service Facilitator for clients who want to enroll with the Department of Medical Assistance EDCD Waiver (elderly or disabled with consumer direction Lucy Hill Services provides service facilitation for the EDCD Waiver. This waiver enables the family member to provide the same services that an agency attendant provides. The elderly or disabled family member is taken care of in the home and the attendant submits a timesheet every two weeks and gets paid for the care they provide. A lot of families have a sick or disabled relative that they provide care to. As your service faclitator, I'll explain the waiver and how it works, coordinate the packet to submit to DMAS for service authorization once the medicaid is approved. Medicaid is need based and not income based. So if you're not satisfied with the agency care, or your agency has suddently shut it's doors, you can easily change over to consumer direction.
