***BUYER BEWARE*** I signed a contract with Joe Dennison of Universal Interiors Remodel to do interior paint, bathroom remodel, flooring, and other miscellaneous services. On the day the project was supposed to be completed, it looked like the workers were on track to be done by the end of the day, so at Joe's request, I paid in full and left to go run other errands. When I returned to the house it was a mess, with the work uncompleted, piles of trash and dirty dropcloths and sweaty clothing and parts and fixtures that needed to be reinstalled left lying around everywhere, and paint splattered all over the floors. We later found out some of the work was done incorrectly, for example the painters took the doors off to paint them, and they were not reinstalled correctly so most of them wouldn't shut properly anymore, and the plumbing work in the bathroom wasn't done right and leaked as soon as we tested it. Long story short, nothing was ever done to fix it, Joe just took the money and ran, and after waiting several weeks I had to bring in other actual professionals to complete all the work and clean up all the mess, and I am now pursuing legal action since Joe has finally contacted me to let me know that he won't be reimbursing me for the expenses that he has caused, even though I provided pictures of all the problems, paint on my floors, etc along with copies of the invoices from the other contractors showing what had to be done to make everything right.
