We are a Park and Recreation that provides public programs and projects. We assist Boy & Girl Scouts with community service projects. Fun with nature. HJP is a young and growing Park Dept. We have added 2 fulltime staff memeber since 2009. By doing this we are able to provide quality public programs and activities. Here are just a few. Tennis lesson from spring thru fall. Lessons are for all ages. Our Youngest is 6 and our oldest has been 67. The most poplar lessons has been by the Adult and the Munchkins. Another program that is growing and been very successful is our Summer Day Camps. We offer this in two locations. The ages for our "Campers" is 6 thru 12. Camps are 6 weeks. Except 4th of July. Hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Lot of nature classes and field hikes too. Specialized programs for both Boy and Girl Scout organizations. Check out website calender for events or our Facebook pages.
