About the artist: As a kid I loved building tree forts, making mud pies and drinking grape juice. Along the way to growing up not much changed. In the rural villages of Zimbabwe, Africa, I worked with the local wood carvers. We enjoyed the same love of wood and prepared a food called "sadza" which is strikingly similar to mud pies.
