Excellent psychiatrist I like the fact that I can get both friend and therapy from Dr. Brian Buggie. I've been seeing him for almost five years and he is an excellent psychiatrist. I started seeing him after having done thorough research on therapists and psychiatrists in the New York area, and although I haven't met with all of them I am confident that I have made the best choice.

Dr. Buggie is a true medical professional with the right knowledge, skills, experience and attitude. He is a grounded, practical and compassionate listener, and also gives just the right amount of feedback. He focuses a lot on mindfulness and being in the present moment, which seems so simple but is actually kinda tough to do. He's helped me learn some valuable skills and guided me through some big changes in my life. I have had a great experience with him as my psychiatrist and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Brian is an exceptionally smart, experienced and compassionate psychiatrist. I was fortunate to have been referred to him by another therapist for the treatment of my chronic pain and all of the mental/emotional issues that go with it. Dr. Buggie helped me identify the right medications for me and provided alternative therapies for my pain. I definitely recommend him to anyone seeking the guidance of a seasoned Psych with impressive credentials and a caring attitude toward his patients.
