Chuck did a fantastic job restoring a 1953 Smith Corona Model 88 that has been in my family for 60 years. He cleaned it up, and got it working as good as new. Other shops had told me "can't fix it," but Chuck was able to make the repairs that other shops weren't capable of doing. I am very pleased with the excellent service I received. Strongest recommendations!

I've had Chuck service 3 typewriters for me in the past year and he has done an impeccable job each time, thoroughly and with care. I am so glad I found him as there are not many around that have the time, tools, and expertise that he has. Chuck worked on my Royal HH for me.
It was beyond my skill level to fix, and when I got it back the result exceeded my expectations by several orders of magnitude. The machine I received back was not only fixed, it had been adjusted, lubed and cleaned. He even installed a new ribbon with period correct spools.
It was my favorite machine before, and is even more so now that it's been adjusted correctly. I have literally never been this satisfied with a typewriter or with the service I received.

I had purchased two vintage typewriters that did not work. One is a beautiful Royal 5. I was told by a local typewriter repairman that the repair was difficult and he did not know who could help me. Luckily I found Kelly Typewriter Repair on craigslist. Chuck was able to pick them up and have them back in working order sooner than expected. The Royal 5 is much cleaner and looks fabulous in my living. And I am able to type letters with them.
