We provide nursing assistant training for anybody who would like an easy, economical way to investigate and enter into the healthcare field. We are accredited by the State Board of Nursing. This is a 137-hour course taught in 6 weeks and consists of the fundamentals of nursing practice, as well as preparation for the Board of Nursing certification examination, which is held by a Board of Nursing approved evaluator in our facility. The program content consists of: the healthcare delivery system, communication, infection control, body systems and changes, safety and emergencies, vital signs and other measurements, assisting with hygiene, transferring and positioning, client's rights and independence, special needs clients, the psychosocial changes of growth, care of the dying client, legal aspects of healthcare, CPR certification, preparation for obtaining employment and regulatory control of certified nursing assistants.
