Regal Recycling was purchased in 1993 by Vern Brockway. Since that time, the company has grown to offer two full-service metal recycling centers in Ann Arbor and Howell. In 2011, the company opened a new recycling center in Ann Arbor. This 4.5-acre facility and 10,000 square-foot warehouse will help us continue to meet the recycling needs of our community. Recycling scrap metal is an important part of protecting the environment. Recycling steel uses 60% less energy than producing steel from iron ore, and recycling one car saves more than 2,500 pounds of iron.
