I had 6 different companies out to do estimates for putting in the new thermostat, a whole house humidifier, and some kind of air cleaning solution. I had ranges from $1595-$3300. The 2nd to lowest was AZ Air. the Salesman, came out and did the estimate. They were the last place I was calling. I told him about the ranges and my frustration with the contractors who misled me along the way. In any event, he wrote not the lowest estimate. I carefully reviewed what they would do work-wise, and was so professional. in was impressed and I'm not the kind of person who gives 5-star ratings all the time. They said that you get what you pay for and showed me what they would do. The tech who did the work arrived on-time, ran through what they did, and a brief summary of how to use the thermostat. He would have done more but I had read the manuals before they arrived. Product installed was excellent and functional. I will never use another HVAC company. AZ was fantastic from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Over the last 14 years I have had maintenance agreements on my heating and air conditioning system and have used several of the top ranked/rated dealers in town. They all provided ok not wonderful service, some better than others. I have had an opportunity to observe them and their quality of work as they went through their hurried routine/checklist and were in and out in 10 minutes (a slight over exaggeration, but not by much). Without question, AZ Air Conditioning & Heating has outperformed them all. Their technician's knowledge of the unit, his methodical and thorough inspection of the system, actually taking things apart and “fingering” the parts, and performing various diagnostic tests instilled a great deal of confidence that I was getting my money's worth—speaking of which, they also were the most reasonably priced. The irony is that my system is brand new and quite honestly, all the tech really could have done and/or needed to do was a quick walk through, but he didn't…now that's what I call a true professional and honest professional service. I fully intend to be using all of their services for the NEXT 14 YEARS

So when my HVAC died, I began the hunt hoping to find a trustworthy repair company in the area. After reading all the positive reviews (here), I called AZ. I couldn't have made a better choice! Since I called late afternoon for the initial appointment, I was immediately surprised to be offered an appointment as soon as the following morning. A Tech and an assistant showed up ON TIME! Based on my experience with other companies in the past, this was totally unexpected. They briefly questioned me regarding the symptoms and began troubleshooting. Within 30 minutes they had not only found the failure in my unit, but also what had caused the failure. The Tech took the time to explain to me (in laymen's terms) the function of the failed components. He then showed me how the prior system was improperly installed and explained how this caused the failure. He thoroughly described my options, from the repair of the existing unit to the various alternatives for replacement. While I was weighing cost vs. comfort, went the extra mile. He asked me questions concerning my lifestyle (as it pertained to HVAC such as; temperatures my wife and I prefer and at what times, humidity levels etc…) and the he made a recommendation based on our lifestyle, size/configuration of home.
