The term 'Rolfing' is non-descript and the technical terminology is a general overview, yet it does not explain or reveal your results. But, as Laura put it, the 'recipe' works. After the sessions my body knows and senses, without the deliberate thought, to feel more confident with balance, posture and breathing. Flexibility and agility that had diminishing returned. Laura's studies have covered many of the benefits of massage and her knowledge and understanding of the human body is amazing. I looked forward every week to a better understanding of my own body with every class. 'Mind, body, spirit' is not just a cliche. I often attend workshops to refine my lifestyle. I had my first Rolfing session with Laura last week. It was the best "hands on therapy" I have ever had. In the past, I have had PT, massage, ART and various other forms of treatment which were all good but the Rolfing is definitely at the top of the list. Laura is very knowledgeable. In addition, she seemed very focused on the task and not the clock. I really appreciate her skill and concern and look forward to our next session. I highly recommend her without any reservations. Easily the best massage I have ever received. Laura cares, is personable, knows more about the human body than anyone I've ever met, and could push a silk thread through a telephone pole. If you want therapy and understanding and real help you could not do better. The only problem I have is she won't move to Seattle.
