With permission, a client writes: Sarah helped me out of feeling stuck, anxious and depressed after surgical complications, a highly stressful job, a failed relationship, and the death of 2 family members all in the same time frame. I learned how to regulate my emotions, how to reconnect with me, and with my body again. I began to feel myself in the present moment without judgment, and instead with acceptance and self compassion. I started to have less lows and more even days where I could set boundaries with others and allow myself to get some badly needed rest. I began to feel safe in the world again and more motivated to do what is important to me. Relationships began to heal, new people entered my life while dysfunctional relationships could be put on hold or dissolved on their own. I found that I could notice the good in my life and at the same time tolerate the not so good things and continue to function.I have a sense of self as capable and deserving that I did not have before.
