Hello, I am Chen Banks. I have been making custom knives for about 7yrs now. I draw my own designs, cut them out of high carbon steel and use a stock removal method to shape and form a knife. The steel is then heat treated in a coal forge and tempered for the desired hardness. Most knives are created from good quality recycled steel such as, antique saw blade and leaf springs that are know their toughness and durability as knife steel.
