Going through rehab here was actually great. I liked being here and that made it so much easier to take my time and really get my program done the right way. The staff here are great. Super nice and easy to get along with which made them easy to work with. When it was time to work on our programs the staff made sure we did everything right but when it was our free time they made sure we had fun. Either they'd set up some activity for us all to do or they'd take us out on the weekends and get us out of the building. We'd get a break from being in rehab and that helped a lot. I didn't think much about it while I was there but since being home I've realized how much that's helped me. I have a much easier time staying sober now because I don't miss getting high. That was always the problem I had. I wanted to be clean and sober but I always wanted to be able to get high. I felt like I was missing out on something when I was sober even though I knew I really wasn't. All the activities and outings that we did helped me see that I wasn't missing out on anything when I was sober and in fact things were better. I've been home for 2 months and staying sober has been so much easier this time. I'd recommend this center to everyone looking to get help for themselves or someone they love. You really can't find a better place to get sober.

Best Drug Rehab is such an amazing facility. They literally saved my life and I'm so grateful every day that BDR was the place I ended up going to when I needed help. I had been on Suboxone for 5 years and pain pills for a year before that. Every time I had tried to get off Suboxone in the past I just wasn't able to do it and I was at a point where I honestly thought I would be on Suboxone for the rest of my life. Going through detox at BDR was a totally new experience for me. I had detoxed myself a few times before and it was some of the most miserable times in my life. I was expecting equally miserable and was really quite shocked when I was midway through my detox and was still doing okay. The staff at BDR know how to help you get through detox and your recovery program. A lot of them have gone through their own struggles with addiction and can actually relate to what you are going through and therefore help you so much more. When I got there I wasn't sure I'd be able to stay off Suboxone but, by the time I left BDR I was confident in my ability to stay clean and sober. I've been off any type of opiate for over 2 years now and I can't believe how amazing life has turned out to be. It's so much better now and I really have the staff at BDR to thank for that. They helped me through such a rough time in my life and they did with an enthusiasm to help that I've never seen in a rehab before. If you need help with drug or alcohol addiction this is the place to go.

My son is currently in treatment at Best Drug Rehab. They have done for him what I was beginning to think was impossible. When he got to Best Drug Rehab as much as I love him, he wasn't someone I wanted around. He was always so negative and mean to his father, his siblings and I. He has really started to change in that regard. He calls me now just to talk and say hi. He doesn't ask for money every time he calls anymore. His overall attitude is so much better. He is becoming more and more pleasant to talk to and I am extremely grateful for that fact. Having a holistic approach to treatment is something I thought would be good for my son and it has been. He's not on any other drug and is completely clearheaded and aware for the first time in 7 years. I really like that Best Drug Rehab have different courses of treatment at their facility. My son has been to rehab twice before. Both times it was a 12-step program and when he agreed to finally go to treatment again I didn't want him to just go to another 12-step program. I wasn't sure what would be best for him however. I love him dearly but I wasn't in his life very much before he went to BDR. He just wouldn't let me. Having the different options there that the patients choose from is such a great idea. By him making the decision of which treatment to take, it's really put him in control of his recovery and it's made a big difference. I'm finally starting to believe that my son really has a chance to make it out of this.

My brother is currently at Best Drug Rehab and he's finally getting the help he's needed for so long. My brother used heroin for the last 10 years and it's been pretty rough on my family. He started smoking pot when he was 16 and my mom sent him to rehab for it. At the time he didn't think he needed rehab because it was just pot. He was smoking a lot of pot though and every other area of his life suffered for it. Which is why my mom sent him. Because he didn't think he needed rehab and didn't want to be there he didn't really do his program. At that rehab he met new friends that were into much heavier drugs and when they left the program and started hanging out with my brother he started doing those heavier drugs. He was introduced to heroin and that's when things got really bad. He was on heroin for 10 years. 5 of which he was homeless. As soon as he asked my parents for help they dropped him off at Best Drug Rehab. The treatment program he's working on has helped him a ton. The staff there have worked with him and have really helped him start getting his life back. The staff he works best with are the ones who have had their own problems with drugs. It gives my brother someone to talk to that completely understands what my brother is going through. Seeing them doing so well also gives my brother something to work towards and an idea of what his life will be like without heroin. My brother is doing so well right now and it's all thanks to Best Drug Rehab and the staff there.

Going to Best Drug Rehab let me get my life back. I went to Best Drug Rehab because my husband was going to leave me and take our kid if I didn't get help. I knew I needed that help however so while I didn't really want to go to rehab it wasn't that hard of a choice. I was sober for 11 years prior to my relapse I had stopped taking my sobriety seriously as something I needed to continue working on. I convinced myself that I would be okay just having a glass of wine with dinner once in a while. It didn't turn out that was obviously and I needed the help that I got at Best Drug Rehab. Since going there I've become a much better person, a much better wife and a much better mother. I'm so much happier now than I have been for a really long time. The staff at Best Drug Rehab were so kind and caring and compassionate and they helped me not just with getting sober but also helping me fix the marriage I had messed up and put in jeopardy by drinking. My marriage is doing great again and I'm so happy to be sober again. I won't ever not take my sobriety seriously and because of what I learned at Best Drug Rehab I will continue to improve every aspect of my life.

My son has been to Best Drug Rehab twice. Once 18 months ago when he came home from flunking out of college and I found out he was addicted to heroin. Then again when he relapsed 9 months ago and asked to go back to BDR. When my son first went to Best Drug Rehab it was because I had no idea of where to send him with so many different rehab programs available. I didn't know if a 12-step program would be right for him or some other kind of program. Having a facility like BDR which has a range of different program options was perfect for us. It meant that I could leave that decision to my son and his counselors and he could make it after he had finished detoxing and had a better idea of what would help him the most. When he relapsed 9 months ago he asked to go back to BDR and I fully supported that decision. He knew he could get the help he needed there and get back to being clean and sober. I knew that they would take excellent care of my son and make sure that he was once again ready to leave when he completed his program. He's back home again and has been for 6 months. He's doing amazing again. Only this time, he's much more diligent about his aftercare program. He's hasn't gotten complacent about once and I know that he will continue to do well. He's back in school and working on finishing his education. He's happier and healthier than he's been in a very long time. And I trust him to do what he needs to in order to stay clean and sober. Best Drug Rehab helped him so much.

When my brother went to Best Drug Rehab it changed his life completely. He went from shooting heroin to working at the facility and helping other people get off the same drugs he was doing. 2 years before he went to BDR I stopped talking to him. He wasn't just ruining his own life but my parent's lives as well. Most drug addicts are fantastic manipulators and my brother was no different. It seemed like he could convince my mom of just about anything and my parents were constantly arguing over what to do about him. My dad wanted to cut him off completely and my mom just couldn't do it. Even knowing that it would help my brother in the long run she just couldn't do it. When my brother finished his detox at BDR he started writing me letters. Each one was better than the last. He loved it there and it showed in his letters. He told me all the time how much he loved his counselor and how much the program was helping him. He started playing the guitar again, something he had quit doing when he sold his guitar for heroin. He talked all the time about how much he wanted to work at BDR and help people. By the time he finished his program we were talking on the phone again. It was awesome being able to talk to my brother again and not worry about him at all. He was doing well and I didn't doubt that. When he came home after he graduated he did what he needed to do in order to go back and work there. He went to meetings and did his aftercare program. It's amazing having him back again.

Last year my sister went to Best Drug Rehab and it changed her life. Years ago, I stopped speaking with my sister because I had given up that she’d ever get and then remain sober for any length of time. She was dying from using those drugs and I had resigned myself to the fact that she’d most likely die of an overdose in the not too distant future. She’s been to so many rehabs over the last 13 years that I lost count. Going to rehab never seemed to do my sister all that much good. Until my mom found and sent her to BDR. My sister changed while she was at BDR. She got sober and then worked really hard to get the tools she needed to be able to stay sober. It’s worked. She finished her program 8 months ago and hasn’t relapsed. The longest she ever lasted before was 2 months. Mostly it was 2 weeks though. So, for 8 months my sister hasn’t stayed sober. It’s more than that though, my sister is happier than I’ve ever seen her. She’s happy and working hard to stay that way. Thing is, it isn’t that my sister went to rehab, or decided to get sober for real or any of the other million things. It’s the fact that my sister went to Best Drug Rehab that made the difference. I know this, because she’s been to many, many rehabs. She’s told me that she’s going to get sober for real this time, she’s given me declaration after declaration and nothing changed. It was the fact that she went to BDR specifically that made the difference.

It still shocks me sometimes how much better my life has become since going to Best Drug Rehab. Going there helped me turn my life completely around till it became something I was actually proud of. Going to BDR gave me the tools I needed to stay clean and sober. I’ve had the desire to sober up since I started using and just couldn’t seem to do it until I went to BDR. The BDR facility is completely different from every other rehab I’ve been to. The biggest thing is that I actually had a good time while I was there. The staff at BDR are extremely dedicated to helping people get and stay off drugs but in addition to that the staff made sure we had a good time while we were getting our lives together. While they made sure that we worked hard on our recovery I have never smiled and laughed so much in a group in my life. Getting off drugs and learning what I needed to so I could stay off drugs was more fun than I would have thought possible. If I was having a bad day or just needed someone to talk to there was always someone there willing to take time out of their schedule to sit with me. When I completed my program at BDR, for the first time, I had confidence in myself and my ability to use what I learned at BDR. Now, I’m happier and healthier than ever. I’m in control of my life and the direction it’s going.

When my son went to Best Drug Rehab he had been using meth for a little under a year. I’m fortunate that when his father and I were researching rehab centers we found and decided on Best Drug Rehab. We ultimately chose BDR because it seemed so much different than the other centers we looked into. Having my son there for just the amount of time he needed instead of him doing a 30-day or 6-month program was one of the deciding factors for us. I know that if we had sent him to a program with a set time he’d just wait it out, no matter how long it was. At BDR though, he couldn’t do that. He had to truly work on his recovery and he wouldn’t complete his program until he was ready to. At one point during his program he wanted to leave and the staff at BDR were amazing with how they dealt with that. They have staff at BDR who have dealt with their own addictions so they understood my son on a level that only they could. They were able to get my son to see how much better his life would be if he was sober and that the best way to accomplish that would be finish his program. After that point, my son started doing really well there. The total time my son was at BDR was 11 weeks and he grew up so much while he was there. When he completed his program and came home he wasn’t completely forgotten about by the staff at BDR. They still call him all the time to check up on him and make sure he’s doing what he needs to so he doesn’t slip up. All in all, BDR is a fantastic place.
