Dancers Pointe Academy provides quality dance lessons in a nurturing, positive environment. We always offer a free complimentary trial class. Our "Early Childhood" program starts at age 2. Avoid this place like the plague. It was bad enough that the studio owner, Jentry Albritton, routinely showed up over twenty minutes late to teach my five year old's hour long dance class. It was made worse by the fact that she consistently ate her Bojangles biscuit smack dab in the middle of the class instead of teaching. But the last straw was the fact that RAW HUMAN WASTE was left sitting stagnant for over six months in what was referred to the "broken bathroom". Contrary to what the owner of the studio and her cohorts thought, a shut door and a fan were not enough to overcome the vile smell and the obvious health risks of having children dancing, sitting and playing mere inches from this cesspool. There are plenty of childrens' dance studios in the Cary/Apex area. Go to one of the others instead.

I would not recommend enrolling a child in this dance studio to anyone.
The quality of instruction is questionable at most. I noticed my child being taught incorrect terminology and technique way too many times. This was confirmed after we switched to another studio with an experienced instructor.
The office staff is disorganized at best. There was no clarification as to who did what at the studio. This was made clear when I asked in May for communication about being overcharged, and this has yet to be rectified. In fact, I have not to this date been contacted regarding this despite going through the BBB.
There is a high turnover rate with the dance instructors. Kids are unable to connect with their teacher or learn dances for recitals or competitions because teachers come and go throughout the year.
The studio owner, Jentry Albritton, will go to great lengths to avoid any questions or concerns. She seems more interested in milking the parents for every dime she can instead of actually caring about the growth and development of the students.
