Lake Missoula Tea Company, with a tea shop upstairs in the historic Masonic Lodge in Missoula, Montana, provides diverse, quality tea from around the In the spirit of peace and environmental sustainability, we are pleased to offer Purple Tea, the first climate change tea exclusively grown in Kenya. Purple Tea is a tasty response to a changing climate from small-scale tea farmers living in the Kenyan Highlands. In addition to superb flavor, Purple Tea contains both drought and frost resistant qualities.
Lake Missoula Tea Company's name is inspired from the late Pleistocene Epoch when a vast glacial lake covered the Missoula Valley. During the last Ice Age, a land bridge connected Asia to North America. Our name symbolizes the cultural connections that originated when humans migrated to new places and our tea provides a tangible connection to this history.
We trust you will drink and enjoy our tea with these connections in mind.
