So to explain it in more detail- Sellers Sign on to sell their items- inventory is uploaded to the site and scheduled into various auctions- when the auction opens- the buyers and sellers all meet up in a chat environment where sellers can tell you all about the items up for sale- Sellers sell, Buyers Bid-and everyone is socializing- By the end of the auction everyone is smiling and has had a great time meeting new people How does bidding work? Sellers are encouraged to set the "Starting Bid" for their lot at the lowest possible price they are willing to accept. When your item is presented in an auction, your start bid is essentially first bid amount with each new bid the purchase price of the lot increases. The final winning bid is the price at which the item will be sold. What is an auction "lot"? In an auction environment each individual item being presented for sale is called a lot. A lot can remain on the block anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes. Remember Our auction rooms are live 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Sellers also have the option of purchasing a Lifetime store front- What this means is you can have your inventory listed in your store front for sale on the site 24/7 even if you are not scheduled into an auction you still have an opportunity to sell direct to customers interested in your products. In some instances a potential buyer may love your item but be unable to attend the auction it is listed in. The Store Front gives the buyer an opportunity to buy direct from you at your SET price.
