Sharon Heller Smith, founder/creator of DaraZ Cosmetics, began working at age 15 while attending school. Working for a very large and well known retailer in a department selling designer clothing led to Sharon's interest in the worlds of fashion and beauty. A combination of these interests with her passion for art resulted in Sharon's finding her niche in working with cosmetics in sales, management and as a professional makeup artist. Being trained by a top well-known artist and working in her company gave Sharon the opportunity to finally use her creativity, knowledge and passion for makeup and share it with others. After nearly 30 years of experience, Sharon decided to leave the security of a large company and do what most people would consider unthinkable in such a competitive world and start her own company from scratch. Based on years of listening to her clients telling her what they were looking for but had been unable to find, she decided that with her knowledge and years of experience, along with her artistic and creative background, she could develop cosmetics that would be suitable for everyone. She began researching how to give everyone quality along with the look, feel and simplicity that they wished for. In 2008 DaraZ Cosmetics LLC was founded, and it launched a line of lip glosses as its first product.
