They're crooks. They were handling my mother's prescriptions when they changed computer billing systems. Suddenly we were charged an additional amount that was not on the previous billing statements. I asked for a detailed account summary many times and they never responded. When involved my mother's lawyer they sent a summary, but only from after they switched billing systems. They never supplied a summary from before the switch, when the erroneous charges were added. I ended up paying the difference rather than be reported to collections. To summarize: They overcharged me in error. They would not respond to my inquiries. Only after I involved a lawyer did they respond, and it wasn't a complete response. They ripped me off. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. My mother's Assisted Living Facility fired them and now has a new company handling their residents' medications. I'm sure Advanced Specialty Rx's shoddy business practices contributed to that decision.
