This was the 4th time I've hired this company to do remodeling in the interior of my home since 2014. I had them back, (each year) as they did good work in the past. The most recent remodeling project was a nightmare. I wanted to share this, as a warning. First, they asked for a large down payment, nearly 3 months before they started any work, which wasn't in the contract. I'm required to pay when the work begins, but he kept changing the start time, from early August to the end of Sept. He would tell me he'd be here for a certain day, then email me that morning, saying he was sick, he had to do this or that,excuse after excuse, this went on continually since the end of Sept, until they finally finished in mid January 2018.Then he started taking entire weeks off, my kitchen was left torn apart for over a month and a half, right in the midst of the holiday season. He didn't care, I couldn't use my kitchen at all,(or my garage) nor did he have any sense of commitment or responsibility to me as a loyal customer. When he did finally return the second week in Jan, he was rude, argumentative and was yelling at me. I would have fired him, but as my kitchen was still torn apart, I was stuck. He was verbal abusive to me, lashing out in numerous personal attacks, right in front of my elderly Mother, he just didn't care. I was beyond upset, it was the most unprofessional treatment ever. I was relieved when it was FINALLY finished after nearly 4 months, & would NEVER hire them again!
