I contacted “Katdog Construction” to update the interior of an old farm house my family owns. The previously outdated, but livable interior had been damaged by a former tenant. Mark Young of Katdog and I agreed to an appointment time for him to evaluate the remodeling needs during his first conversation. Unlike many experiences with other contractors, the appointment was set for only two (2) days out rather than two months. Mark also arrived promptly for this evaluation appointment, which is “huge” for me as I work a very busy schedule and am often frustrated by others who do not keep appointments. After this evaluation, I was impressed and satisfied with the “honesty, knowledge, care and true professionalism that I saw. There was no question in my mind as to what I was getting, let alone that feeling of comfort and trust I felt from him. He truly listened to everything I was saying to make sure he understood what I wanted. The following is what they did for me: • Interior drywall in 5 rooms • New wiring and light fixtures in 5 rooms • Kitchen (new counters and flooring, changed gas stove to electric) • Bathroom (complete re-do and repurposed antique mirror to place above bathroom sink) • Replace staircase off back porch (also new floor and re-did wiring for dryer and hot water heater) The work turned out better than I’ve expected, and besides everything looking wonderful, the best part was the fact that “this work was all completed in the time Katdog had origina
