BARB HEENAN
I have had a wonderful experience with Addiction Care Practitioners. Phones are answered timely, appointments accommodate even when my schedule was not good, calls answered after hours. Receipts and insurance billing information provided as well. No complaints!!!
Former Patient
This place is a suboxone pill mill. This doctor's office is dirty and far from HIPAA compliant. Patient charts are laying around in view of other patients, sometimes laying opened. Little to no privacy when checking in. Staff asks you to sign blank releases of information. Cups of urine are all over the office. They will give you a prescription over the phone, but require a fee paid over the phone without actually seeing a doctor. When changing prescription dosage, doctor and staff asks you to give them the remainder of your prescription so they can dispense it to other patients. They strongly push name brand even though generic is available, regardless of your financial situation or ability to pay for brand name prescription. There is no form of intake. You pay $300, talk to a doctor 15 minutes, and leave with a prescription with instructions to come back next month. No monitoring of first doses.
They claim they accept insurance, but when you pay cash up front they give you a hand written receipt and an insurance claim slip with insurance codes for services that do not apply to your visit and at costs above what you actually paid.
There are far better doctors out there that offer suboxone treatment who take patient privacy far more seriously, and will treat you as a patient instead of a paycheck.
