Bad business. I called to make an appointment for a service that I was told they provided. I asked the rep if she was sure as two other practices said they did not perform the service. The rep put me on hold and then picked up again and assured me she was sure they did this. What was she doing other than double-checking? I took time off work to go to the appointment, waited, then talked to the PA (Rebekah Smyth) for about 10 minutes. She told me the practice does not perform this service. I told her I was assured on the phone they did, she told me unfortunately they did not. I lost money and time, but whatever, things happen. A month later I get a nearly $100 bill and spend the following 3-4 weeks going back and forth with the office manager, Emily, about how I shouldn’t be paying a bill if I was lead there under false pretenses. It was escalated far enough for me to pull three months of call logs to send the date of the call when I made the appointment. They listened and heard me ask not once, but TWICE, that they performed the service. The business should absorb that cost since I was tricked into making an appointment in the first place. Why should I have to pay for a service I was lead to believe they performed when they actually don’t? This place basically scammed me out of $100. There’s plenty of dermatologists in the area, just pick a more honest and reputable one.
