In 2004 Brian Chesseborough started in a corner of a winery, called the grizzly corner. His first wine was a 2004 Amador County Zinfandel, as the wines evolved so did the name. He needed a name as strong and majestic as his wines, what better than a bear, grizzly republic wines was born. Grizzly republic is now a winery in paso robles consisting of 10 varieties as bold and beautiful as a grizzly.
