Non-profit provides services to stroke survivors, caregivers and family members in the Long Beach area. Meeting in Long Beach, the Stroke Support Association's mission is to assist stroke survivors and family members in optimizing the quality of their lives and their health. The unique needs of people living with stroke - the long "recovery", the permanence and the challenges that come with the losses and changes - are not and cannot be met through current medical care or other existing community services. It is these needs that the Stroke Support Association program addresses. Serving Long Beach, Los Angeles and Orange County community members.
