I'd been wanting a home garden for several years ever since I began juicing organic vegetables and fruits. My friend told me about Ian and O-veg whom she met at the local farmer's market in town. Wow, I was in for quite a treat. Ian had so many wonderful ideas and solutions to my gopher problem. He designed beds that were lined with screen to keep the critters from digging in plus suggested I fence the beds to keep cats and other rascals from harvesting my bounty. Ian also taught me how and when to plant; where to find organic coffee grounds, horse manure, straw, wood chips and other materials for the beautiful compost bin he constructed then enlarged. He shared private tomato, onion, celery and garlic starts. Finally he gave me a beautiful complete binder with information and mapping of my new bins that included an organized seed storage box, labeled and complete so I can easily and efficiently plant all season long! The gardens Ian set up last year will easily continue to bring me renewable pleasure and sustenance for many, many years to come. I highly recommend Owens Valley Edible Gardens to the beginner and proficient gardener alike. Ian did all the hard stuff allowing me to enjoy all the fun and rewards of home gardening.
