Welcome to the Emerald Island! We offer tours to visitors who want to see the island and its wildlife inhabitants, such as the Kodiak Brown bear.

We offer two tours a day, one morning and one afternoon. The morning tour runs between 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, the afternoon tour runs between 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Each tour is approximately 5 hours long, beginning at the Kodiak Wildlife Refuge Center. Our tour offers an unforgettable island experience that takes you out and around the island, West to East, pass many bays, rivers, and ending up at the great ocean where it's possible to see whale, sea otters, and harbor seals in their natural hab...

Kodiak is home to the Great Kodiak Brown Bear, which can be seen at times roaming through the tall bear grass in search of berries, mice, and anything else that might be on their minds for a meal that day. We also make stops along the way for taking photos, and a stop for lunch or dinner.
