I heard through an acquaintance about Mannix Automotive, and he glowed not only about the exceptional service he received, but also about the proprietor, Rich Mannix. I understand why. Rich is a special character. You will know it as soon as you speak to him. He is as scrupulous as they come. He established his own shop after years of witnessing flagrant abuses in the automotive repair field. I felt comfortable the moment I met Rich and had no qualms in leaving my Toyota Camry with him. My Camry needed a water pump replacement and a new serpentine belt. The Toyota dealership quoted me over $600 and other independent shops, while admittedly less costly, were still too high in my estimation. Most importantly, none inspired confidence that the repairs would be done properly. In summation, Rich had my car repaired the same day and the final bill tally was lower than the other quotes I'd received. My Camry has been purring like a kitten ever since. God forbid my Camry should need other repairs anytime soon, but if so, it will be repaired at Mannix Automotive.
