Welcome to the Stamford Observatory. Adults and children of all ages enjoy coming to have a peek through the telescope and attending demonstrations in the amazing planetarium. Our 22-inch telescope is completely controlled by computer and can also be controlled manually with a joystick. To pin-point something in the sky, the coordinates or name of the object can be entered into the computer and the telescope can find it, wherever it may be.
