However, some are made using knitting worsted yarn. Most items can be machine washed on gentlest cycle but I recommend hand washing and rinse in cold water, then reshape and air dry. For example: If you choose Watermelon Slices, it can be crocheted with yarn and made as magnets or crocheted with thread and made smaller as pins. Kites and sunglasses in the spring and summer or pumpkins and angels in the fall and winter. And the list goes on. I make very cute small Angel and Heart Pins. They are smaller, about 1-2 inches. I make it with thread that is not variegated but two separate colors. The thread colors are a solid and a metallic that are intertwined. White/Gold; White/Silver; Gold/Gold; Silver/Silver; Red/Silver; they are very pretty. I can make 4-5 in a day. Maybe I can make more, if it is a good and pain-free day.
