I admit that I knew virtually nothing about landscape architecture - except that my property needed something artistically and aesthetically beautiful to enhance - and even transform - its appearance. A bit of Googling turned up landscape architects - I read some reviews and looked at some websites - one of the things that struck me about Lisa's Blue Mountain Design Studio is that she emphasizes "sustainable landscapes," "alternative energies," and "repurposed materials." In other words, respecting the environment is an integral part of her work. I asked her to look at my place and draw up some plans - I was very pleased to see that she exceeded my expectations - her designs were tasteful and impressive - it was obvious that she put considerable thought and effort into carefully combining her ideas and expertise with my expressed preferences. Needless to say, I hired Lisa for the job, and I'm convinced I couldn't have made a better choice. The result is beautiful and eco-friendly - not a bad combination!
