There are four type of burns and They are classified according to the degree at which they destroy the human skin and their causes. Be on high alert if the victim is having difficulty in breathing or is unconscious. You should try to cool the area with water, but not with ice or cold water. Do not try to remove any clothing stuck to the area, as it might inflict further damage. Contact your doctor immediately and follow his instructions properly. Your care and attention will hasten healing and minimise damage. Any carelessness will make the wound worse.
