Non-profit skating program in Ancaster offering Figure Skating and Power Skating instruction for ages 4 to adult. Serving the community for The Ancaster Community Skating Program has been proudly serving the Ancaster community for over 50 years as a non-profit skating organization dedicated to helping skaters of all ages and abilities build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the sport of skating. Operating from Spring Valley Arena, the program offers comprehensive Figure Skating and Power Skating instruction for children as young as four years old through to adults. Whether you're stepping onto the ice for the first time or working toward advanced skating techniques, our experienced instructors provide a supportive and encouraging environment focused on progress, fun, and personal achievement. Programs are designed to develop balance, coordination, edge control, stopping, turning, crosscuts, jumps, spins, hockey skills, and advanced skating techniques through structured badge levels. Sessions run on Sunday afternoons from October through March, providing 19 weeks of quality instruction.
