Chims Cabins offers six self-contained units on Highway 4 in Port Alberni, BC - full kitchen, private deck and dedicated parking at every Chims Cabins is a family-owned, Indigenous-owned property on Highway 4 on the west side of Port Alberni, BC. Instead of a motel corridor and a single room, each of our six self-contained cabins has its own front door, a full-size kitchen, a private covered deck and dedicated parking. Units sleep one to five guests and include heat pump heating and air conditioning, guest laundry, fresh linens and free high-speed WiFi. The property opened in 2018 and has grown to six cabins - Bear, Wolf, Eagle, Raven, Hummingbird and Butterfly - each finished with Indigenous artwork. Bear Cabin is step-free for mobility access. We are five to ten minutes from the city centre and the last accommodation before Sproat Lake, Tofino and Ucluelet - a practical base for the drive west, or for anyone here to work. Corporate, contractor and BC provincial government rates are available, and the meeting space seats up to twelve. Book direct at chims.ca, or call (250) 724-4746.
