In 2011 Dr Amanda Fortin returned to Northern Ontario to open her practice in Sudbury. While she has roots in Northern Ontario, she has done extensive training across Canada and abroad. She attended medical school in Calgary, Alberta, became certified in Plastic Surgery at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba and then went on to do specialty training in Houston, Texas and in Melbourne, Australia.
