As a family owned and operated business, we are committed to providing quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Bring us your ideas The Old Barn Polished Stone Creations was founded by Ted Hunter in early 2004. Ted was looking for a new challenge after retiring from his successful Plumbing and Heating business. While on vacation with his wife Brenda they toured a granite quarry, and Ted became interested in the industry. In 2006 Ted's son Reay joined the team at The Old Barn. Reay had previously worked in the radio industry, but missed working with his hands and decided to change career paths when the opportunity presented itself. The Old Barn was an active farm until 2003, when Ted purchased the house and barn from his mother and step-father.
