Home Hotel Bilan is located in the heart of Karlstad, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. The hotel building is the former Karlstad district prison, one of the regions most iconic landmarks. Over the years, it housed some of Swedens most notorious prisoners, yet despite the meter thick walls, numerous escapes occurred. A short walk brings you to Stora Torget and its nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel offers meeting rooms, a limited number of free parking spaces, as well as a fitness room with a sauna.
