We certify the FODMAP level in foods to determine if they are suitable for people to eat who are following a low FODMAP diet and those that have digestive and gut problems. Foods that are suitable for people that have Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS). FODMAPs are a collection of short chain carbohydrates and sugar alcohols found in foods naturally or as food additives. FODMAPs include fructose (when in excess of glucose), fructans, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), lactose and polyols (eg. sorbitol and mannitol).
