BUYER BEWARE Check rating with Better Business Bureau ALSO KNOWS AS WHOLESALEDOCKS,ca The Quick Deck,ca My Cottage Shop Smooth Talker - You will feel like you found an honest and hardworking individual...UNTIL you pay him. mid June we contacted him, everything seemed great, communication and follow up. Most of my order was delivered, only half was installed. Parts were missing and "needed adjustments" the build wasn't completed. nor are the parts we ordered on site. The quality of what was delivered is sub par and is ALREADY falling apart Delivery was delayed and it took over a month to get him to our site. on June 23rd 2020 he installed the first part of the docks and they would be back to finish up later this week with the remaining items. It's now Aug 11th and he has been dodging my calls texts and messages

If you are looking for a great deal on a dock, if you are looking for a wonderful salesman, if you are looking for all the right words and promises, THEN, you have found the company that will do all of that for you.....However, check out the Better Business Bureau's complaints and reviews of them, study their facebook reviews and google reviews, understand that they operate under 3 different business names, (The Quick Dock, My Cottage Shop), and then you will be up to speed on what will happen next when they have taken your money and you don't hear back from them! We only heard back from them when we wrote the truth about what they did to us over the last 2 plus years, and so many others are in the same boat....one which is sinking, cause the dock isn't there to tie up to!!!!!

YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO USE IT - ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU HAVE NOT DELIVERED WHAT WE PAID FOR!!! Considering that the rating for this company keeps declining, take that as a warning for the experience that you will have with them. It may very well go like this as it did for us "Hi Jamie, I have sent four unanswered text messages since June 10, and I know that you see these, so can you please reply. You managed to get the dock in, BUT 2 years later the steps are still not what we paid for, 3 steps instead of 5! As well no kayak rack, no cleats, a short leg, and damaged boards. Please get in touch with me by tomorrow (June 15)." When did you plan to do this when our cottage is completely booked beginning the end of June, and you knew about these issues from last year! Yes, that is right, I have been waiting for over a year for what we paid for, to be completed. UPDATE (June 15): Jamie responded by text. Wants to 'get it booked'. No date set as of yet. UPDATE (June16): Offered till today (noon) to give us an answer about when he would commit to come and finish the work. He responded and thanked us and wished us a good evening. Well sadly no reply so we are forced to keep writing UPDATE: Today we are promised a set date for everything to be completed UPDATE: (June 23) A few days ago Jamie agreed to come this Friday. We did make several request for him to confirm the many things that are still outstanding to do, but sadly no reply. UPDATE: (June 28) I shouldn't be surprised, but Jamie did not show up today as he had promised. Nor did he let us know he was not coming. I have lost all faith in him. UPDATE: (July 2nd) No word from Jamie, dock is still unfinished, we will be moving forward with legal action. UPDATE: July 4th: A glimmer of hope, Jamie said he will get back to us about coming this thursday or friday. Would be great if he did, time will tell. UPDATE: July 9th, hopeful he will come, no reply or confirmation, can you let us know Jamie which day this week works, Thursday or Friday??? UPDATE: July 10th, Jamie tomorrow is Thursday, these are the last two available days this Summer to finish up what we paid for, and would love to hear back from you that you are coming. Can you please reply. 5 messages on the cell and no reply thus far:( FINAL UPDATE: Jamie didn't come Friday, didn't text us that day, his style is to just not reply, another day for him, another disappointed customer. We are filling in the paper work to take him to court, looks like others have done the same so this is part of his standard business operations. In my lifetime, Docks by Design was the worst experience I have ever had. Final Final update prior to court coming soon - he made one last attempt, we said, ok you will have to make all the moves to "make this right", and yet again for the hundredth time and with absolutely NO SURPRISE, he vanished. Classic style

Do your research read the reviews that are critical and ask yourself how it is that they have so much in common with each other!
