Karako Suits is a family owned and operated business. The first Karako Suits location opened on May of 1982, in the famous Garment District in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This particular store, specializing in leather jackets & men’s suits, quickly gained the strong reputation of being the best deal in town. Saving people money, while providing first-class quality, has been the goal of the Karako Family since opening the doors to our first location over 30 years ago.

Started in 2007, the factory produces for various high end denim brands, mainly Genetic Los Angeles. In 2015 the minimum order quantity was lowered to 60 pieces and open the doors to small to medium private label customers. The low MOQ was an easy decision because the sewing lines and laundry are designed for small runs. The company focus is on developing the wholesale department with more resources companies to make their own private brand. In 2016 drop shipping services were added to help online retailers and boutiques manage their production and retail shipping from one place. The ownership is committed to maintaining the made in USA on our clothing labels, being eco friendly and keeping machinery up to date. In 2016 the laundry was updated with ozone system that allows up to 80% water savings.
