Our whole emphasis is about promoting Hawaii and the people of Hawaii. For years, Mike Kop has handcrafted every hula implement uder the sun, ranging from several types of uli uli (which require 25 steps) to bamboo pu'ili, and ipu heke. He also makes hand-dyed Tahitian skirts and makes custom ordered items. He has a great passion for all the crafts as well as hula. Mike was a student of kumu hula Robert Cazimero and the late great Uncle George Holokai, after he learned everything from his father, B.K. Kop. Today Mike Kop perpetuates the culture by offering classes and getting involved in numberous keiki hula competitions.
