The company was founded in 1987 as Doug How's Outboards. Doug, his five children and their families have pooled their talents to expand the new and improved business venture, Freshwater. Every motor that is offered for sale is completly examined and any necessary repairs are made in accordance with the manufacturers approved procedures. Every motor is service fully and is sold as being ready to mount on your boat and hit the water. Although we specialize in OMC motors we often have used Mercury, Yamaha's,Suzuki's and Mariners available as they were accepted on trade. The same thorough checks are performed and completed regardless of the make. We can ship any motor we have to anywhere in the lower 48 United States as we have a good working relationship with a freight company and ship over 100 motors per year. We are agressive in our pricing and we simply try to treat customers as we would like to be treated.
