I am a Registered Sanitarian with the state of Texas. I was the Environmental Health Services Director for the Brazos County Health Department from 1991 to 1997. I started Premier Environmental Designs in 2003 after being in the restaurant business for 6 years. During that time, I continued working in the septic system business part time as a designer until going at it full time in 2003.

James (Jim) Widger is a registered professional engineer in Arizona with 45 years' experience in a variety of engineering fields. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and two Master's Degrees in Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has been active in the on-site wastewater industry in Arizona since 1990 and is intimately familiar with state rules and permitting procedures. Widger Engineering has designed and obtained permits for many alternative wastewater systems in mountain communities as well as exclusive neighborhoods such as Paradise Valley, Clearwater Hills and north Scottsdale. We have experience with a large number of treatment systems that are presently on the market and have excellent relationships with the regulatory agencies.
