Waterloo Surf Craft began as an idea for a board that was truly unique and different. When making one board turned in to many, we saw the opportunity to share our creations with others. We believe our name gives us originality and a certain uniqueness that is different from any other board company. "Waterloo" was the original name of Austin, Texas, before it was renamed for Stephen F. Austin. "Surf Craft" describes our desire to make more than just boards, but an array of products that a surfer would use. Our goal is to have a variety of products centered on surfing and an all-around love for water and the outdoors. Our mission is to never stray from these values (originality and uniqueness) that are the very foundation of Waterloo--making a board/product as individual and different as riders are themselves. By making our boards as unique as their riders, we focus not on being just another name in the boarding industry, but rather a name that stands out in conversation and sparks the question, "Oh, you own a Waterloo board?"
