Roses and Barbed Wire has come to life in 2012. Started with the desire to make a face cream using the milk from our own goats. (one can only drink so much milk in a day!) and making a beauty soap too accommodate the face cream. We shared the two products with family and friends wanting to spread the benefits that had been discovered. Over time, the word has gotten around how "wonderful this stuff is"! We are a family dairy where all the goats receive the highest standard of humane and loving care. Our goal is to keep our goat milk as natural as possible. We gently pasteurize to ensure our milk is free of bacteria and harmful organisms. We use herbal medication when necessary. We produce a fresh pressed cheese and Greek style feta in small batches.
