Lots of Fiber Critters !! We are located in Clearmont, Wyoming. Our ranch has enough room for everyone (critters & kids!) and we hope to be able to further our enjoyment of both. We are home to 4 kids, 6 horses, 180+ alpacas, 8 cats, 3 dogs, 6 llamas, 2 goats, 2 sheep, 4 peacocks, 2 emu, lots and lots of chickens. We strive for lots of color along with fineness in our herd of alpacas. Our farm combines the coverage of the Peruvian with the fineness of the Chilean heritages. This creates wonderful fleeces for fiber production and animals that are pleasant to hang out with. Alpacas really are a special type of livestock to raise!

Chuckanut Alpaca Ranch is located right on scenic Chuckanut Drive. Nine years ago, Walter and Lois Schluter left the hustle and bustle of the big city behind and established Chuckanut Alpaca Ranch. They quickly embraced their new enterprise and peaceful life in the country with a growing herd of 64 alpacas. It's also the perfect place for their huge Bernese Mountain Dog, Julian, who thinks he owns the place and loudly announces company. He takes his job as greeter and escort very seriously and will act as guide for anyone who visits his alpaca family. With 24 acres, there is plenty of space for all of the alpacas, Julian, and the growing family of bunnies that have taken up residence here.
