Short Hat Company is a family owned business that is dedicated to creating beautiful, quality hats that satisfy the needs of both kids and parents. The quest for the perfect hat began in 2001 when Chris Epp found hats for kids that protected, but offered little in the way of style. He decided to bring this unique design perspective to the children's boutique market and Short Hat Company was born. It is important to us that we do business with a conscience. We source organic and renewable fibers whenever possible and we use recycled plastic visors in our brimmed caps. Our collateral material is printed on recycled paper using soy based ink. All of our manufacturers focus on excellent craftsmanship, compensate their employees fairly, and provide safe, comfortable work environments.

We knit unique hats for the family,baby shoes and afghans,dog accessories, and a few home items. We help with different charities in the Cadillac area by donating hats, mittens, baby shoes,socks,blankets,and give lap blankets to the wounded Veterans.
