Our mission is to instill values in young people and prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetimes, to take leadership roles as adults, and to reach their full potential. Those values are based on character, citizenship, personal fitness, and are found in the Scout Oath and Law. We accomplish our mission in partnership with chartered organizations and chosen, well-trained leaders, as we: • Offer young people responsible fun and adventure. • Instill in young people life values and help them develop ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. • Train young people in citizenship, service, and leadership. • Serve America's communities and families with quality values.

Thrifty Adventures is an Adventure Travel Company based out of the Blue Ridge mountains in Western North Carolina. Established in Concord NC in 2011 we provided basic Rock Climbing Trips to folks in the Charlotte NC area. In 2015 we relocated to WNC where we became the most diverse Wilderness Guide Company in NC. We offer an array of services including: Rock Climbing (beginner to advanced), Rappelling/Abseiling, Waterfall Rappelling, Whitewater, River Tubing, Yoga Hikes and various youth programs. Two new programs include Wilderness Photography and Botany Classes; foraging for wild edibles. TA is a certified and insured company providing Adventure Travel Trips all over NC and SC. Our guides are highly qualified in the courses they teach, holding various certification in their field of choice as well as medical training. We guarantee a fun and SAFE trip for all!
