Nurtured by Nature offers one-of-a-kind Otter Swim and Animal Encounters in San Diego CA. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing once in a lifetime experiences to those looking for adventure! During the two to three hour program you will be able to touch, feed, and interact with several small exotic animals for the first half and then swim and play with Asian Small Clawed Otters in the heated pool for the second half! Nurtured By Nature targets children in need of a little joy through out the Southern California area. You'll also have an opportunity to meet, feed and directly interact with a variety of other incredible creatures such as a kangaroo, sloth, armadillo, porcupine, African ground hornbill and more. This is a wildlife experience like no other that puts you right in the center of the action with exotic creatures. You'll take home a permanent grin and memories to last a whole lifetime.

EARS - Endangered Animal Rescue Sanctuary provides compassionate care and forever homes for exotic and endangered animals rescued from abuse, abandonment, or neglect. All residents enjoy spacious habitats and specialized care in a loving, safety-first environment. Open only on the first Saturday of every month, with private tours available by advance reservation. The organization provides animal rescue, evacuation and disaster response services to shelters, communities and municipalities as well as State and Federal Authorities. It offers certified disaster response training to a national base of volunteers as well as consulting services to sanctioned Offices of Emergency Planning and Management. Additionally, the organization is active in the implementation of No-Kill principals and procedures for Municipal Shelters, Humane Organizations and communities and offers No-Kill training and sponsors area seminars in cooperation with the No Kill Advocacy Center.
