The main focus for the foreseeable future is to create an environment that leads to the retention of not only highly skilled, high wage jobs but also support positions crucial to the ongoing operations of grocery, department, restaurant, and other retail stores. We are driven by the goals and objectives set by member entities, the SEAGO EDD Program assists all distressed areas, planning regions, cities and counties. We assist in providing significant economic development planning, policy making and implementation efforts. The high unemployment numbers throughout the SEAGO region speak for themselves, and with a concerted effort we can stem the loss of existing jobs while expanding businesses and attracting others.
