In 1982 I started working with Avendano upholstery in Connecticut Ave Washington DC. I worked my way up from cleaning the shop to learning how to reconstruction and eventually refurbishing whole pieces. Once I was on my own I started working with the company Nelson Beck upholstery. With them, I was able to work on the furniture in the Blue room, Red room And the Master room in the White house For president Clinton. I worked at the Mayflower hotel from 1996 to 2011 in Washington DC. Now years later I have decided to start my own business.
